The Agricultural College“Dimitrie Cantemir” Huşi
The Agricultural College is not only a Viticulture School, but also a strong technical center, enrolling students at profiles like:

Natural resources and environmental protection;

The educational activity takes place in a number of 4 buildings built in the years: 1908, 1940, 1963, 2002, in which are located a number of 35 classrooms and 8 laboratories: computer science, physics, biology, fruit growing, viticulture, food industry, technical drawing, mechanical and locksmith workshops.
The qualifications of the students graduating from high school are:

tehnician in economic activities;

tehnician in food analysis;

tehnician in CAD design (Computer Aided Design)

tehnician in horticulture;

tehnician în agriculture.
The fruit of their work abides in the high school’s wine cellar that houses aproximately 25.000 bottles and which was founded in 1909 by the first principal of the school, Gheorghe Gheorghiu.
The oldest exhibits from the school’s museum date from 1949, due to the fact that the cellar was destroyed during the war.
Another special achievment of the team of teachers and students is The Wine Museum which houses 300 exhibits.The museum has three rooms: the first room presents the leaders of this school, the second one illustrates the tradition of viticulture in the area and the third rooms includes zoomorphic figures.
