IES Andrés Vandelvira has 1287 high school, FP and higher education students. Regarding professional education, it trains students in various professional areas: laboratory operations, baking, pastry and confectionery, viticulture, Laboratory of Chemistry and Environmental Health, Analysis and Quality Control, as well as Processes and quality in the food industry.
Our education center has chosen to incorporate VET education in the Dual modality both in intermediate class (bakery, pastry and confectionary), as well as in higher cycles, as well as language programs in English.
We have a close relationship with the companies in which we train future specialists, in order to promote the spirit of entrepreneur, with the aim of continuously updating the skills obtained and allowing the integration of our students on the labor market.
In short it is an educational organization that has made a strong commitment to innovation, working with companies from sector, through their involvement in the training of students through Dual Vocational Training, the promotion of multilingualism and of entrepreneurship as the basis of quality VET education that fulfills the basic objective of connecting the educational system with the needs of the labor market in order to reduce the unemployment rate.
